My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
That's a cool product, and a neat installation. Thanks for sharing.

i've got the exact same console in my 1st gen. barely fits between my t-bird buckets. lots of room inside, and lots of cup holders too. even a little pocket in the back thats good for smaller stuff. definitely worth the $30

This little thing IS very sweet. However, l just returned from wally world myself, and was excited to find a console that I didn't have to custom fab.

Ran out to my truck, put it in, and low and behold it fits!!!! :yahoo:

Closed the door, fired up the truck and on my way to reverse, smashed my drink onto the floor that was in the front right cup holder... :annoyed:

So, I pulled back into my parking spot, threw the thing back in the box and walked back into walmart...

Ended up with the standard black plastic cupholder/cd holder that fits nicely beteen my newly crafted buckets. Atleast untill I can take some time to play with foam and fiberglass...

Moral of the story: Clutter Catcher, A+, very worth your cash, UNLESS you have a manual transmission...

Eh? Mine works great, I just keep drinks in the rear cupholders when I'm driving around town. Once you're on the highway and leaving it in fifth, move it forward if you like.

Well, I currently live in hawaii, so 5th is hard to come by. And personally, the cupholders were the main reason I bought the darn thing so to instantly be unable to use half of them is not worth the money to me. I would rather spend the $12 on the next size down and wait for something better to come along or till I get around to making my own. :dunno:

The space and locking feature will be missed though. but, not too much since I had it for like 15 mins. lol
