For someone who seems to like original, I was shocked when I saw your grille and wheels! But hey since you went RETRO on your B2 I can see why the clear lenses would not work for you.

I like retro, more than original, especially on a vehicle that isn't worth anything; our Broncos. As for my wheels, they are the stock wheels it came with, only the grille has been changed to an EB.

I can't believe clear lenses garner more posts than anything else. We are truly f%^ked as a country !!

Clear lenses flows better with the white bottom half of my B2.. Simple as that.

Whys it matter what we like on OUR rig? What if I don't like your grille? Do you care? Thought not... Lol.

Why does it matter???!!

Because when you sit where I sit, you make judgments. And this is just another one that is "clear" ( punny huh ? ) to see. It's obvious . we are not what we used to be, unfortunately. And to see you guys worry so damn much over clear lenses is funny, the non laughing funny. And the irony is lenses are easy to make. You could make a set yourself using your originals as a mold pattern. But I have said to much :)

Why sit there and make judgements?
Maybe clear lens don't matter to you. Doesn't matter tho

Some people don't have the knowledge or want to, to make their own lens. Just like some people pay to get their oil changed and tune ups done! GASP! It's the same thing IMO. Somethings are worth it, some are not.

I think I will look up how to make lens though. I'm intrigued...

Sure I realize that, but if you "gotta" have a set, make them. Hell make two or three . . it seems you can be a millionaire doing so :)

Would someone please give PetesPonies a pacifier!

If you have so much hate, why are you wasting your time on this thread?

If you are so talented, why havent you realized and opportunity to make clear lenses and sell them all to us? Oh wait, you must be too busy hating on all these threads!

If I wanted drama I would turn the tv on to a news channel to watch what is going on with our gov't.

Go channel your hate somewhere else!

Update...
I have not gotten a reply since the last response that I got which indicated he was going to contact the supplier this past Monday.

When dealing with him concerning the clear tail lights that I wanted, I would sometimes get a response later that evening and then some were 4-5 days later.

I did send a follow-up email on Tuesday night.

Thanks for the link PetesPonies. Thats great info to have. Thanks for sharing!

How about the back housing that holds the bulb or reflective material, would that be created the same way?

for legal reasons in most states, you cannot...
you have to have a side visible marker light...
And they double for a reflector... actually they probably serve more of a purpose as a reflector than an actual light.

I imagine that is what gets them, there is probably a requirement to get a DOT # that they have to have so big of an big amber reflector in them and since the whole lens is a reflector and the thing is fairly small to start with it is probably right at the limit already.

Probably not enough demand to ship over lights that are technically illegal to be on street.

For someone who seems to like original, I was shocked when I saw your grille and wheels! But hey since you went RETRO on your B2 I can see why the clear lenses would not work for you.
80-81 F-Series/Broncos had them from the factory. They ran amber bulbs, kinda gave them an odd faded amber look.

I can't say it is a look I care for. I like my ambers (and red tails too) :icon_thumby:
