Why pay $2000+ for the superlift kit when you can buy 3inch tbar keys, crank your tbars 2 additional inches and buy add-a-leafs, bigger blocks, and shackles for the rear and get an even bigger lift? Just a thought that ran through my mind earlier today. I'm sure Superlifts kit is better, but is it really $1500 better?

your truck will ride like ass cranked....the keys give the the crank lift but still ride ok. good deal.

for me, if i wanted to run 35 in tires on a sla truck i would simply sas it.

as it would be cheaper for me then a shelf lift kit and more cost effective all around. if you cant do it yourself, or associate with those that can pull it off for you cost effectively a 3 in body lift and keys is a decent way to get some tire.

I already have my 3in body lift on and I'm running 33x12.5 on 15x10 with my tbars cranked an inch. I don't really care how stiff it rides. I'm planning on buying keys and cranking the bars another inch with a rear add-a-leaf and shackles. Then when money permits it going with 35s. I'm also rebuilding the whole front end of my truck though (new control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, and maybe steering knuckles).

the idea of rebuilding an sla and adding 35's really would put me into a sas.

but i drive alot of miles. if you dont drive too many miles(under 30 k) its worth it to stay sla just because its easy.

If you crank those aftermarket keys all the way up, get ready to spend $1,500 a year in balljoints, tierod ends, tires, ect...especially if you you pay someone to do it for you. If you just wait around and keep your eyes open you can find used superlifts/RCD's for 500 to 1,000 all the time

Just a warning but some people need to learn the hard way

If you are rebuilding the front end with all new parts put that money towards a Dixon Bros setup and you will be set and never have to worry again. T bars cranked will give you no droop on the trail and with the stock spring the up travel will be less than spectacular and you will have to worry about destroying the stock parts. You will have a truck that just looks the part rather than something you can take out on the trail and have fun with. Everyone learns from experience IMO I would save up. Seems like i am saying this a lot on here...... You get what you pay for

I agree with above. Wait and get a super lift. If you just keep torking the tbars you loose all of your downtravel, it rides like shit(trust me I have done it), and will wear out your suspension... In the long run it is cheeper to get the superlift and you get better quality with it.
