Has anyone ever seen anything like this? It appears as if my brake line has cancer or something.

l just noticed it today so l am not sure how long it has been like this. These are the chevy brake lines that a few guys have used to extend the lines after a lift...
l will be replacing it, but was curious if anyone knew what might cause it.

My credo
If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning.
broken fibers that allow the rubber to expand is my guess. Tires will do the same thing if the cords break.

l figured it had something to do with a faulty line... figures it is just past the 90 day return period as well

Yea looks like the inner liner has ruptured and is letting brake fluid get to the outter rubber caseing.

Replace that thing immediately, i wouldn't drive a mile knowing my brake lines looked like that (I've wrecked a car due to one rupturing leaving me with no brakes)

Good deal, i'd stick with raybestos brand. Little more expensive, but I've never had a problem, good stuff. (just noticed your local, im in Henderson as well. What part are you in?)
