i just ran 2 wires from the solenoid, through the firewalll and to a push button from o reilly autoparts. i can make a vid tommorrow if you want me to of it, oh and you should sub, im gonna be makin lots of new vids of the truck

i did the same to my b2. push button where the sun visor was.

as for a build thread, well kinda. but there isn't much in it right now. i need to go through and just describe what i have done in the past 8 years on it. but i do have alot of pics on here, just search my name.

yea subscribe to my youtube channel, but yea, it worked out pretty damn slick (iif i do say so myself lol) and mine is right under the steering colomn mounted on the panel you pull of to get to the fuses, but still have enough wire slack to pull it down to get to the fuses. but yea ill check out your build thread

ok so here is how my push button start is rigged up, goes to the 2 postes on the solenoid, routed behind the motor, and goes through a hole in the fire wall and then goes to the push button, its actuallly a pretty goood one, paid $5 for it.

the key has to be on the on position, or else it dont get spark, the ignition switch went out so i rigged this up, and it works pretty damn good

They can only drive it as far as the battery can turn the engine over to turn the wheels, just remember it doesnt have ignition spark unless the key is in it plus they cant turn the wheel without the key either.

exactly, and no one around here would steal it, and if it does get stoplen, i got insurance, and theres a special trick to starting it :)

Lemmie guess, cycle the key 3 times, crank the engine over a bit, cycle again, ask your buddy to lick the pointer fingers on each hand and touch some random wires, acting as jumper wires, as you crank again , and while all of this is happening he blows into the intake so that it can get extra air to the engine?

i setup mine to only start on wed evenings. while standing on my head. and flicking off :thefinger: a pavement pounder.

funny, but not even close, is that how you start yours???
