i'm the proud owner of a 1988 Ford Bronco ii and a absolutely love this vehicle. i do have some mods in mind, and i would like your opinion on these. i'm not hugely mechanically inclined but i know some. i also have welding and cutting experience (thats what i'm going to college for) anyway. the first thing i want to do is put a Cummins diesel engine in, but in company with that i'm not sure what size (4, 6, or even 12 cylinder) i need, because i want to put a dually axle in the rear. i know this will have something to do with getting a new transfer case, or transmission or something. and i still want to convert it to four wheel drive, not sure if its possible to do both the axle and the 4 wheel drive. anyway i dont know if this is even possible. or practical for this vehicle but it would be cool. any ideas on these? like i said theres so much more i want to do, but none of it is as iffy as the axle.
