I was playing around in the snow that we recently got here in oklahoma city when I noticed alot of noise in the front axle. I knew it was probably bad bearings, but didn't know which bearings. After I heard a big noise and my truck stopped, I got out to find the bearings fallen out behind the pinion and a cracked housing on the front axle.

I am gonna go to the junkyard this week to get a new housing so I can get ready for the next storm that is coming this week. If I pull the housing off of a donor truck, are the bearings pressed in the housing? I just want a quick fix to get my 4wd working by this week. I do not have the money to buy a bearing kit right now. I just need to know if I pull a housing off, will the bearings and everything I need be a part of the housing?
