Been to the NASCAR and NHRA races in Bristol, TN a few times. The two tracks are across the parking lot from each other. Lots of campgrounds surrounding the tracks. NHRA doesn't fill them nearly as much as NASCAR. We always stay at Dave's Family Camping, emphasis on the word "Family", but you walk through Farmer Bob's Camping to get to the track. Farmer Bob's is redneck party central for NASCAR. Fun to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. The towns of Bristol and Bluff City (where the tracks are actually located) are heavy on red light and speeding cameras. I know this.
