Brake-throttle Modulation

why is it that every video that i see of people off-roading they are flooring it and just bouncing around. even rolling there trucks. has nobody heard of BRAKE - THROTTLE MODULATION?????. if you use it you can do so many things and enjoy it. do people not know how to off road???

Because most of those videos start out by the driver sayin, "Hey Ya'll Watch This".

Meaning they know they are being filmed, so they want to make it as dramatic as possible. If you watch most of the videos that are hosted here you will see most of the guys really do know how to drive.

Popular offroading video's tend to be when there is carnage rather than a clean run.

Sometimes crawling through or over everything wont work. Many times it takes some full throttle and a lil bouncing to get you out of a situation. Not all the times but theres times when its more effective. I agree with shoto that its a lot more fun to see somebody spinning the tires, mud flying everywere, people yelling and cheering vs something with the engine at an idle crawling over a rock lol.

I'm not saying its right, I'm just saying that in general you will see video's like "watch this guy blow out both differentials, snap an axle and a transfer case!" rather than "this is a clean run with the doubler at .5 mph"
