I assumed the OP has fender flares(being he's an edge). The 01+ flares are easier to tag with tires than older models with the mudflaps removed because the 01+ are fatter towards the bottom and roll into the inner fender(even with flaps removed). I ran maxed torsion bars, AAL, 3" bodylift with 80% 35x12.50's on 15x10's with 4" backspace. Was perfect on the street and only rubbed the inner fender at full lock turn. I did not have flares or a valence at the time.....but if I did, that shit would have been ripped off at 3/4 turn. And I was not comfortable wheeling it.
The OP seems typical to those who want a mild lift without any issues of rubbing, I gave him the best advice I could give in regards to a clean, cheap(no regear necessary), smart, no rub setup.
OP, stick to a max of 34x12.50 with the bodylift and shackles. If you want to run your existing rims, they are 7" wide and I wouldn't go anything wider than an 11.50 tire. Go to the tech section at the top of the page to find the metric to standard tire calculator, or go to a tire manufacturer website to get the actual measurements in inches(since virtually all 16" tires are in metric sizes). No trimming of the flares should be needed, but I do suggest rounding out the valence on the rear bottom(closest to the tire).
