What are the best bang for your buck, best lighting bulbs that you've ever used?
The best ones I've ever had were some by the name of Luk. Haven't seen 'em since though. Anyone know anything about the Silverstars?

I have the silverstar ultras, they are brighter then stock, but I dident think it was worth the extra money. If your needing some extra light, I bolted some KCs on, well worth the money, extreamly bright.

I actually had cheap a$$ APC bulbs, they were like fifteen each, but they were the best bulbs yet, lasted a really long time and were better than the silverstars I had IMO. The best thing I did for more lighting was added 2 50 watt driving lights in place of the fog lights, and also 2 150 watt KC sealed beams

Hey LowNslow95 what HID kit did you get for your truck? I'm looking at the one that uses stock style bulbs and gets their power from the stock headlight wires. Do you have any pics?

Thanks

No, I don't have any pics, and the ones I got go directly into the stock wiring harnes, and it uses a stock style head light bulb, which if i am wrong, correct me, is a 9007? Thats what was in my truck.

So i take it, it was a very easy install? What K did you get? And from where?

Sorry I'm asking so many questions, its just something I've always wanted to do.

I got 6K HID's. They were made by Xentec. It was something I had always wanted to do. They came out looking pretty decent. When the weather clears up here in the north east (huge snow storm) i will take some pics and put them up. I don't have any before and after shots, but you should notice a difference by just looking at them that they are brighter.

Edit: here is the link to the kit i have installed: http://www.amazon.com/XenTec-conversion-6000K-Single-Xenon/dp/B000O50M7M
