First off my front end was clunking in 4x4 low and high. I finally found out why.
the bearing inside the spindle/knuckle that supports the passenger side axle shaft is gone..... it no longer exist.
So, the question is to get that shaft out to replace the bearing don't I need to pull the knuckle which means pushing out the ball joints. And when I do this can I reuse the ball joints if Im really nice to them.... (they are fairly new BTW)
also if I mark the alignment cam on the top one, can I just put it back on the same why it came off to avoid getting an alignment right away? (I will eventually be getting the alignment done in Aug when I get new tires so dont worry)
I also cracked my drivers side 6" drop bracket so I will be beefing that thing up as well when I have the front apart. LOL sounds like fun huh?
anyway if anyone can help me out with these questions, it would be great
