Debating whether to put my windshield in or not with how cold it is. Gonna be a chilly morning

My tolerance for the cold isn't what it used to be. I'd be putting the windshield in if I had it out.

I forgot to mention that I’ve got a cabin booked for Friday night… it’s going to be a little too cold for camping.

Ok, so here's my plan for Saturday - if anyone has any questions or concerns please let me know.

I'm planning to arrive at 8:30 to the park to get my trailer unloaded etc. I have a red 2500 ram and my jeep. Going to try and park on the far side of the lot if they'll let me - I can't remember about how tough they are about that. Let's have a quick drivers meeting just to go through the plan, what to do etc.

I think our best bet is on the western property - thinking head out on 101 towards mammoth overlook and hit up those overlooks in general. Ideally I'd like to catch 123 over to 115 and end up by dead lake and probably have lunch out that way.

Just to let everyone kinda know my style - I drive slow, for better or for worse. I'm used to hardcore crawling so I just kinda putt along. If anyone in the group feels uncomfortable on a trail or an obstacle, PLEASE let me know. I can spot anyone through something, or we can figure something else out. Discretion is the better part of valor - it's ok to not want to beat something up. But keep in mind I'm in a jeep on tons and 43s so some things I will just not notice.

If you don't have recovery points front and rear let's have a chat at the beginning of the day

Can we get a final roll call? I'm going to take the day off tomorrow to pack the jeep up and change the cam position sensors in the benz

Giving my truck more money than it deserves.
Well it looks like other more important work projects are pulling me off the trip next week. I can't really justify driving down just for this event sadly. :( Maybe a few of the northeast members could get together and do something. I'd like to see ecgreen's (iirc) bronco soon.

I'll have to get my coworker to pass on a hello if he bumps into sgtsandman on the runway.

I've been wondering where @ecgreen has been. He hasn't been online in a year.

I'll be there. I'm leaving tomorrow and should be at the cabins around 4pm.

I'm bringing a set of HT radios as well as the mobile in the truck.

Slow is fine. That's pretty much what we've been doing anytime we've met for The Badlands and LBL. Plus, I need to get home in what I'm bringing.

My plan was to be there between 4 and 5, get the cabin all settled, then go grab something to eat.

@Roert42 I know you won’t be able to bring the dodge, but are you at least going drive up in the Ranger and ride the trails with someone else?

I’m going to bring some firewood so we can have a fire if people are so inclined.

If not, that is fine too.
