Is this possible? My truck is black. Very few light scratches near the top, I'd give the overall condition a 9-9.5 out of ten. I'll even throw in my tinted tail lights on the deal.

Seems they are the same size only the step side isn't as wide. Some people like the stepside, some don't. I am not a fan. Some people love them for the ability to step in, others like the retro bed look.

Very possible. As for "throwing in" your tail lights, your lights don't fit a fleet-side bed.

I dunno. I thought they were different. Thought the step-side lights wrap around farther. Maybe not.

Been wrong before.

The taillights are the same. You'd need a different rear bumper, tailgate, and fuel filler neck.

yep, any shortbed from 83 to 2011 will fit your truck and bolt up nicely. any shortbed from 93 on up will even match your trucks body lines.

as previously stated, you will need the fuel filler and back bumper as well (and of course matching tailgate)

I really need a black one, I have no money anymore... marriage coming and just bought this truck LOL.

I have a paint guy but yeah.

And when you say I need a rear bumper and tailgate, I figured I could trade all of that, no?

yep. if you find someone willing to trade ya even steven, you should get all that stuff, and he will need all of your stuff. the one thing you might consider replacing with a new unit is the filler neck, as these go bad on the rangers quite often.

congrats on the upcoming nuptials :)

Thank you sir!

And how much is a new filler neck? My back bumper is *slightly* bent, hardly noticeable. If it's the brackets I'll buy them. FYI guys.

Depends on where you get the filler neck. if you go to Don Hinds Ford here in Fishers, they will want over 500 bucks. that is not a typo. 5 c notes. you can get an aftermarket version from fleabay for about 60 or 70. I need to do this repair myself....

500 dollars?!?!?!?! That's seriously like being robbed!!!

My 1992 ranger had this issue when you filled up (the leaking filler). Thank goodness I don't have it as of yet...
