Alternator 18V output.

Help. The alternator is putting out 18V.

I replaced the voltage regulator but no change.

And I can't drive it to AutBone. Sorry.

Idaes?

What are you measuring the voltage with? the dash gauges are notoriously inaccurate.

Well, the gauge is pegged all the way to the right at 18V and the batt light comes on.
