Altenator alternated

Hey guys been a while since I last posted. I sold my old ranger and just got another one sunday. Well my ? is why sould someone have relocated the alternator from the factory location to where the ac compressor would be?

I can't say for certain on your ride...
... but, if it didn't come from the factory with A/C then it could be the OEM installation


Additional thoughts would include to make room for a second battery or an OBA compressor... or even a second alternator.

did he upgrade to a larger one that wouldn't fit in the stock location? just a thought.

Maybe an up grade, when the sun comes out and it warms up a bit ill post some pics.
