Some of the most productive wheeling out there is done by stockish rigs.

It isn't really that productive to go out and tear it up just for fun or to prove a point, the guys that do it everyday because they have to normally don't have lifted 4x4 monster trucks.
isnt that the truth... and our recovery vehicle when we were stuck was usually a quarter horse and a rope.

I had a 79 dodge aspen ( 2nd car ) 225 slant super six auto, when I was in high school.
I would go through 2 feet of snow leaving the hot shot show offs in the parking lot with their claw tires and new 4x4 yota's. NEVER got stuck in mud or snow or ice in that car.
As is true for every vehicle their after car or truck.
Its not what you drive its how you drive it. You wouldn't and don't want to drive a purpose built wheeler as a daily driver. It would beat the snot out of you and really fubar the truck long term on pavement. Let'em talk smack driving their purpose built trucks to school every day. Then when you hear them in study hall complaining about the cost of new special order worn out parts due to road driving on a daily basis turn around and laugh your ass off while your driving away.

Don't let the critics of the world aggravate you.....they say to me when I'm gassin up...."you headed for a truck show....it still needs some work!"

and I say "Nope! I'm going get a load of rocks...it's a real truck!"

(then they shake their head & walk away)

at least you weren't accused of being a soccer mom. This is what I drove to high school every day - I'm still scarred from the abuse. They just about made me park in the teachers lot

I get dirty driving.

I get dents wheeling.
Aye.

My actual mall crawler has gotten dirtier than that :thefinger:

Nice truck though... get some nice m/t's on there and it would be a great lil truck.

Anytime someone tried to accuse me of being a mall crawler I just replied "then follow me down some trails and we'll see who's the mall crawler"

But seriously, you just covered it in mud flavored water. Take him wheelin and have fun. That'll prove a point.

Through all of that all you proved is that you WOULD wheel it. It could still be a mall Crawler. Just let it be and enjoy your truck. Being so easily manipulated isn't a good thing.

Uhm... soccer mom?
wow.... I could show them that a mini-van is a helluva lot more durable than a little toy car their parents purchased for them on their 16th birthday from a dealership. Older mini-vans are TOUGH.

I wouldn't mind the AWD 4.0 Aerostar... :dunno:
Would be sweet if it was a 5-speed one, too!
