the puddle to the left i know is coolant i have a pin size hole in the freeze plug above the starter planing to do that this weekend but this water is coming from the bottom of the a/c thats connected to the fire wall
kinda got me worried cuz ive never seen it leak that much :icon_confused:

no worries. I'll bet it was a very humid day that morning.

A/C is designed to remove humidity from the air as well as cool it. so on days that are more humid, you will see more water coming out of the a/c drain line. think of it as taking an ice cold bottle of beer out on a warm humid day and setting it down on the table for 10 minutes. you almost have a puddle of water that forms on the bottle and the table under it. that is exactly what your a/c evaporator is doing in the truck.

Oh, ps... you are braver than I am tasting the fluids left by your truck in the driveway :)

You better top off the AC system with more water if that much "leaked" out.

Oh wait...

Living on the west side of WA don't use the AC all that much.

I took a road trip last summer and took my dog Teddy along. Much of the time the temperatures were over a hundred. So when I stopped for a break or food I would leave him in the truck with the AC on. A couple of times there was so much water coming out of the AC that it would be running down the parking lot.

I had never seen that before!

The only way that could be a problem is if the drain was plugged up and what ever was blocking it broke free and let it drain, but then, that's not a problem so much as a problem solved.

Hmmmm....you, um, actually TASTED the effluent from your truck?

And this years Darwin Award goes to...:icon_rofl:

Ah, never mind...I've done the same thing myself...but I DID NOT ENJOY it...so it's a matter of whether you enjoy tasting things on the ground thinking it's actually from your truck that really counts...just be glad your dog didn't run under your truck and have a crap before you noticed the stuff under there...I can see the post now...

"Hey, I just noticed this stuff under my truck and I tasted it but it was really bad tasting so I don't know if it came from my truck or not...<picture of dog turds under truck>..."

I hate to say this but my dog lifted his leg in front of your truck.
This is just a guess. But I bet your low on refrigerant and the evaporator froze a little. Then when you stopped it thawed and the ice melted. If it was really humid it would help make the problem look worse than it is.
