So I've been pondering this swap for the last month or so stalking this forum and looking at readily available info. From what I understand my year of ranger is the easiest to swap if I use the same year of explorer. My question is what do I all have to swap across? I know you have the engine and the PCM of course along with the motor mounts, transmission, radiator and hose, fan and shroud, a/c hoses, battery cable harness, throttle cable, cruise cable, high pressure power steering hose, exhaust manifolds, catalytic converter, airbox, MAF, zip tube, and fuel pressure regulator. Is there anything else I MUST swap across. I haven't found any additional info like what wiring I have to swap if any at all or if I'll have to re-gear my axles or totally swap them ect. ect.... Anybody care to shed some light?
