Looking for advice on where anybody has found good spindles for a 93 to 97 ranger 4x4 non abs. It's got manual locking hubs and it's a Dana 35. Ford doesn't have them and none of the auto parts stores do either. Realized 2 years ago I needed them and had my truck torn apart for a week searching. Found 2 junk yards within 100 miles of me that had them but both places ended up destroying them in the process of taking them off. These spindles for my setup seem to be almost non existant. Truck is torn apart and definitely needs the spindles now since the bearings don't correctly mate anymore. NEED HELP!!

if i remember right, the only difference in an abs spindle is a notch in the flange to clear the abs sensor. should still bolt up and work in your configuration. also, a spindle from the "hybrid" axle is still a d35 spindle, anything 90ish through 97 should work. additionally, the only foolproof way to remove a spindle is with a slide hammer. i made an adapter out of a piece of tube, a spindle nut and a nut that fit the threads on the slide hammer. hopefully, armed with all that info, youll be able to find a couple that you can get your hands on!

oh, bronco graveyard has em too, but theyre a little pricey http://shop.broncograveyard.com/Dana-35-Spindles/products/1961/

Thanks Kunar, I had thought about that late last night. I remember calling bronco graveyard 2 years ago and them telling me I better start looking at junkyards. I figure they would mention being able to use the abs ones, but maybe he didn't think about it. I will give them a call tomorrow.

Well I found the spindles I need hopefully. When I was looking on bronco graveyard last night on my phone, the spindle said it was good for 90-93 rangers and now that I'm on my computer it shows it being good for 94-97 as well. Guess that takes care of my problem hopefully.
