94 Ranger 3.0 occasionaly woent start

Every once in awile my 3.0 ranger woent even try to start. just crank an crank. all day then . for no reason it will start an run fine. never know when it will do this. must be a sensor ? when it starts it runs great. just does this every now an again. where should i start ? daily driver 3.0 4x4 auto 94500 mi. Thanks for any input. I drive otr. an my wife dont trust it no more. its never let us down yet.

does it ever just stall while you're driving because my 85 did the same thing and it wound up being the coil paid 20 bucks for another one and took about 2 minutes to install it

No it runs great. no stalling at all . Ive been on the road big trucking for the last 5 weeks but home for a week. ill put some miles on it an see what happens thanks

Intermittant failures are the worst! You will prolly have to wait till it won't start and then test it out to see if it is spark or fuel.. Next time it won't start get involved with it.

i agree with what big jim said, hopefully when your home it will act up and then youll be able to trouble shoot it. id be leaning more towards the primary and secondary ignition components, but it wouldnt be a bad idea to comfirm fuel pressure and check all of your grounds.

Thanks It hasnt acted up yet. but im gonna ck fuel psi. but that would show up all the time wouldent it ?

Wouldent start put new relay in an fired right up. now ill wait an see.
