I've got an 89' Bronco II. I have no Spark. I replaced the coil and swapped it into a friends 88' so I know its good. Any ideas on where to look ? Thanks.

There are some other possibilities. Check the 'edis' module mounted beside rad. Also crank position sensor.

On the 2.9, It's located behind the distributor, not on the side of the Radiator.

So do you have spark coming from the coil at all? If so, then it's most likely that module. I don't know if this ever happened but if you find that the truck dies after running for a bit then runs when it's cooled down, That's a tell tale sign of a failed Ignition Module (Edis).

check the distributor module. it is on the outside if the dist, it is what the wires plug in to. there are 2 screws that hold it to the dist. I think they are 7mm. you will need to grind a socket to almost paper thin to get into the holes. then pull down and three spade terminal will unplug from the dist. when you put a new one in make sure there is plenty of thermal compound on it. if it is dry it needs to be removed and new thermal compound applied

As stated above, most Ford no-spark situations are created by a faulty TFI module on the distributor itself. regardless of engine . . this modules fail regularly.
