This may be stupid to ask... but i am here to learn... so educate me...lol

I have a good 2.9L that cam from a 89 B2......

I found a cheap 97 Ranger that has a 3.0L with a cracked head....

Am i able to throw the 2.9L into the 97 with little or no conversion?

The guy has someone else who is looking at it tomorrow morning..... so it may go fast... if you know the answer..... please fill me in so that i can buy/not buy.....

Thanks a ton

My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
no, big time conversion. would be better to find a used 3.0L or for the amount of work to swap in a 4.0L

buy the truck, replace the head (gravy on a 3.0), sell the truck for a profit :icon_thumby:
