Hello Everybody,
Finally finished my 350 swap into my 2WD Gen 1 Ranger and only took about a little over a week. Only real major problems i had were that I had to modify the heater box for clearance and modify the firewall for distributor removal while the motor was in the truck. Mounts were pretty straight forward also, I made a plate to extend the mounts back so they would easily weld to the frame and make it easier to replace them if I every needed to. The trans mount was made to fit into the original mounts for the C3 that was bolted in to the 2.9L. The drive-shaft was custom made and i still used the original rear although i plan to a ford 9-Inch in it pretty soon. I used manifolds out of an 82' El Camino and only had to notch the frame on one side but that was minimal, after the manifolds i ran 2 1/4 " exhaust to two Flowmaster 40's, so its a true dual setup. The truck was also converted to manual steering for more clearance on the front end and i used a 4.0 Radiator with an electric fan mounted on the outside. I think that's about it for what i know at the moment, any questions i will gladly answer
