On second though, I guess it isn't too bad. A new catback would be about the same price. And yeah...screw going to a shop, especially if you can do it your self. Exhaust is easy (well..Most of the time!)
yep only thing I'm going to change it is have the exhaust welded and get rip of all those clamps, and maybe make a larger innermediate pipe after my cat to get rid of the old flange

Mine was welded until I realized that it might be a problem if I had to move it to work on something or hit something in the road ect, so after having mine welded for a year or so, I ended up cutting it and using muffler clamps w/ welded in adapters.

I just like the reliability of welded vs clamped, but I don't have a welder handy at the moment lol I hate looking underneath at all those clamps!

well the trucks headed in a new direction! Lift is coming off/is off and I'm dropping it on its arse :) I have the front part of the lift off so far:
1.25 inch wheel spacers all around and the 3 inch blocks are still in for now, getting lowered next week :)

Awesome man, what's with the cap though? Please tell me you're gonna do something cool with it otherwise it just reminds me of my grandpa's truck.

The cap was free from a friend lol. I only have it on because I got alot of crap in my bed I'd rather not have stolen lol. I'd like to find a tonneau cover for it though

Nope I'm just one of the bundle of people on here that lift their 2wd's, get the shi*s of it then drop it to the pavement lol. I'm getting dream beams, spindles, springs, calipers, rotors, leaf springs shackles etc for a steal from a guy on craigslist

Took the rear lift blocks off, this pics is just stock height at a friends house.

an update! I got my lowering beams the other day, have yet to put em on there in my trucks bed lol. There not dream beams though, not quite sure who makes em I couldn't find any markings, but they are lowering beams and look beefy. So I got lowering beams, spindles, calipers, brakes, springs, radius arms, and 2nd gen door panels for $250. Not a bad deal I'd say. stay tuned for "after drop kit pics"

Well I got my lowering beams on today!! did it under the pinetree and of course it started raining haha. But I got it done and now I can't wait to flip the rear!!
out with the old

the wheel spacers didnt want to come off at first, they were rusted fast to the old rotors

then when it was all in, I found out the bottle jack I was using was too tall for the now lowered suspension haha. So I had to get a scissor jack and jack it up enough to get the bottle jack out lol. totally worth it

sorry for the quality of the pics, its a 4th gen ipod on a rainy day lol

can't wait to do the rear now!

Tucking tire!!!! (a lil bit lol)

rear to be lowered soon!! stay tuned :popcorn

Well I adjusted the dual exhaust so it would clear when I flip the rear. The left pipe was grinding against the driveshaft knuckle on the rear, so I raised it and took a section out of the post-cat pipe. Flip kit should be going on this week, I hope, gotta go to a friends who has a floor jack and jack stands...I only have a bottle jack lolz.
