Ok i know the question has come up god knows how many times but all i can find are old threads about this. I have a 1994 ranger, 5.0 out of a 97 mountianeer, which i do know has GT40P heads on it. Is there anyone that makes the headers for the ranger conversion? Or does anyone have any lieing around off an old project... I really don't want to use the OEM manifolds.:annoyed:

From what I understand, the only ones available that work (as far as known/proven aftermarket) are the Torque Monsters designed for the Explorers, stock or custom made.

I know some people have used certain aftermarket headers (for regular heads, E7's, GT40s, etc.) and angled plug boots with sucess, but you can't remove the plugs with the headers in place.

Sorry if this is just telling you what you already know.

cant you run the stock mountaineer headers on the ranger to get the swap done and then save up for the aftermarket headers?? or no?
