Just daydreaming...
I have a mildly built 460 that was going into a Torino, unfortunately the Torino body is toasted...burnt in a fire. I also have a 2004 f150 Heritage 4x4 with a motor that's gone south, but the trans and t-case are fine. What problems do I need to address to marry the two? Adapter plate possible? Will I need a stand alone computer for the trans? How about lights and peripheal systems? What about if I keep it strictly off-road? Perhaps it's better to go to a standard trans and if so which is best for fast shifting [because race truck!] ?
