The headlights will need to be spliced for sure. The explorer ran the wires for the tail lights through the body while the bronco II is run along the frame rail. I don't remember exactly where they tied in the harness at though.

Sorry just noticed you have a '90 model. I have an '88 with the older style headlights so there is a good chance you wont have to.

So what your saying is, I change the harness from the cannon plug, and maybe splice in the head and tail lights, am I going to have to repin anything at the cannon plug?

I've been looking at my donor and the b2 wire harness, the head light parts are the same, so maybe I'll only have to splice the tail lights? Where are the plugs? On the drivers side?

Only if the engine harness you get is from an Explorer. A Ranger harness is a perfect match.

I want to change the oil pump before I drop the 4.0 in, what are your thoughts on a high volume pump compaired to a stock? Is it worth the extra $45 in a used motor?

Started to swap the wire harnesses, there's two plugs on the fender on each side of the b2, right next to the head light and blinker plugs, I'm guessing these are the tail light plugs? Anyone help on where to splice these into 4.0 harness?

I got the wire harness in from the donor and all my lights working, so far no splicing, ran out of oxygen in the torches or I'd have the 4.0 in, hopefully I'll get it in on Thursday,
