3'' bl +2'' susp

ive got a 88 bronco 2 with 3'' body lift and 32s, im thinking of adding either the coil spacers up front or leveling coils ,with blocks in the rear..thus making a 2'' susp lift. anyone have any pics of this such set up...5'' lift and 32s? ive tried to search but just cant find what im looking for exactly. and would i need drop brackets for the control arms for just a 2'' lift? im pretty sure shocks are necassary though

5" lift and 33s

actually its just a 3" bl and coil spacers in the front, the rear dont have any lift besides the body lift. no drop brackets needed and i ditched the shocks lol

but ill soon be taking out the coil spacers cause i got a 4" susp lift coming from a member on here, she deff could be a bit higher cause the tires rub when turning or when stuffed

all the time, and next week as soon as its painted it will be my dd.
i twist off the top of the shock stud when i tried to unbolt them to put in the coil spacer so i just took the shock off all together and figured id wait till i get the new susp lift in before i went and bought new shocks

cool deal, shocks are expensive. whered you get the springs from? are there any springs i can get off jeeps or anything? i have a 98 grand cherokee i lifted 4'' and i have the old springs...wonder if they will fit/lift it any?

just used coil spacers. i bought a set of brand new 3" jeep XJ coils but they done **** all for me. the coil spacers actually gave me more lift. but it may have something to do with the fact that i have several hundred pounds of steel and winch on the front of the b2.
your 4" ones will probably level her out, cant hurt to try it

oh no my 4'' coils are on my dd jeep lol i have the stock springs left over. i went wheeling a couple months ago and one of my stock springs on my bronco popped out...yes popped out and its been not mobile since thats why i wana go ahead and add spacers while one is off

I'll have to look around, I have some pics of my choptop build somewhere, I had pictures with a 2" suspension, 3" susp, 5" susp, and 5" susp plus 2" body lift. 33's looked like a good fit on mine with the 5" lift. With the 2" and 3" lifts 31" tires looked like a good fit. Now as soon as I get some new rims I'm putting 35's on it.

With a 2" suspension lift you can do either explorer coils and leafs or F-150 coil spring perches in the front and explorer leafs out the back. I hate lift blocks, they put too much stress on springs and BII springs are notoriously soft from the start.

Stock shocks should stretch far enough for a 2" lift.

okay which model explorer and what years will fit? and those springs will raise me you say 2''?

Any first gen Explorer 4-door will work for a donor. Depending on the condition of the springs you can expect 1-2" (in other words, unless you want it to sit nearly stock, don't bother with an Explorer that looks like it was beat through the woods for a couple years, snag springs off one that looks like it was used for gathering groceries before someone rear ended it or the like). That would be the blocky style, 91 till whenever in the mid 90s. The front coils are a straight up swap, the leaf springs it is best to swap the centering pin, I usually tear the pack apart and replace the little teflon pads on the ends of the springs (and smear them with a little wheel bearing grease) to prevent squeaks while I'm at it. The pads and new centering pins can be had for cheap from any local spring shop.

cool deal that beats buying 120$ springs , im sure pull-a-part wont charge 30 bucks. and whats the downside of rear blocks? vs. add a leafs.
