2nd gen body lift on a 3rd gen?

I was wondering does anybody know if a 2nd gen 3" body lift will fit a 3rd gen, I found on craigslist a body lift for cheap but its for a 2nd gen. Any help will be appreciated. thank you

There isnt much difference between the two trucks - they have the same frame and very similar bodies. It might not be a perfect match, but Im sure you can make it work.

I would be interested in knowing the difference between the two if anyone does know though...?
