Hopefully that wasn't for the trans...I just found a receipt,I think it reads "added 2QTS 80-90 fluid" 4-11-13
Receipt did not sayIf I am not mistaken that truck should have ATF in the trans whether it is automatic or manual.
Sure it wasn't in the rear axle?
No, just remove the shroud and let it sit on the fan while you remove the radiator. Make sure it doesn't shift before you install a new radiator.I think the cooling system is shot. I could not even flush it out. I will be buying the radiator, thermostat and heater core for next week. Do I have to remove the fan to get to remove the radiator?

Opened the valve on bottom, nothing. Open cap, nothing but rust stains. Tried poring water in top with valve open but only a splash went in before it flowed back out.No, just remove the shroud and let it sit on the fan while you remove the radiator. How were you trying to flush it?
I put a new radiator and thermostat in this today during work. I will try and flush and fill it on Monday after I get the heater core in.Removing the lower Radiator hose makes a better drain.
I used a Prestone flush and fill kit and a bottle of their flushing fluid. Just follow the directions. If you remove the radiator, you can use the garden hose to flush it both directions.
Also, don't forget to flush all the sediment out of the overflow reservoir. That's pretty easy to remove and wash out.
