Just picked up a 94 Ranger Splash 2wd 3.0 5 speed with 235,000 miles on the clock.

Did a compression check and the engine shows to be very healthy yet. Doesnt burn any oil (as far as i can tell) and runs absolutely perfect.

Let me know if you think adding the 1.8 roller rockers would do more damage rather than good. Im thinking the valve springs are pretty sloppy by now and maybe the extra lift might not be good at this point.

What you think? Im going to be ordering the Underdog 4 piece pulley set next week.

I say go for it. If anything just install new springs at the same time. I just add them to mine last night but I'm at 120, 587 miles.
