I like it!I built my grill guard using 1" x 1.5" rectangular box and expanded metal. I hit a 160 lb buck @ 65 mph and there was no damage to my guard, the stock bumper got slightly bent though. Here's a couple pictures of it. I built it around the push bumper that was already on the truck, it also comes in handy when I have to push a tree down.
A word of advice to those considering doing the same. Check your state laws before you do it. Some states prohibit anything being in front of the head lights. Even the much skimpier two or three bar thing some bars come with. I'm not sure why but the prohibition is there.
