hey just got new passenger and driver side front wheel spindles from a friend with a 2006 fx4 level 2. Is there any difference between theese new spindles and the original ones on my 2000 xlt 4x4

In 2001 or 2002 Ford went with a bigger ball joint and brake rotor. I don't know for sure that they'd fit your truck.

Should be the exact same except for one little detail. I say this because I've installed a superlift on a 98, 01, and 07.....superlift knuckles work on all 98+ and the SL knucles are all the same, but in '03, ford went with bigger front rotors, so in in order for you to run those knuckles on a 98-02, you'll need 03+ rotors. I've not heard or seen any differences between ball joints.

Superlift offers two different kits, K357 for 98-99 and K358 for 2000-up. I'm not doubting you but I thought the reason for the different kits was the ball joints.
