I had a very frayed accelerator cable which needed replacing. Problem is, no longer produced and out of stock everywhere. I wound up buying a 2023 Ranger cable from a parts place, cut the end, pulled it out of the insulation, fed it backwards through the OEM cable, attached at the gas pedal arm (including a zip tie to hold the end in place due to the end on the new cable being too small for the whole in the pedal arm), drilled a hole for the cable to pass through on the accelerator throttle assembly and attached a brass barrel nut (threaded with set screw to hold it in place), adjusted it, works perfectly!
