Im attempting to build a prerunner with my 2002 mazda B3000 dual sport. So far all i have done is put 31 inch tires (I know i should have went with a 33 but i got a good deal), and made a bumper. My goal is to do it the cheapest way possible. The truck has 4x4 suspension and the lift kits are too expensive for my budget. I was thinking about swapping out the front axle with an F150 axle, and then getting bigger leafs in the back. I dont know too much about what I am doing so if anybody has any ideas, please send them my way. Also, who should i go with for affordable fenders? I will post pictures soon.

hannemann and glassworks unlimited make fenders and bedsides. and if you wanna make a decent prerunner you will prolly spend more than what you will spend on a 4x4 lift. you can actually piece together a 4wd lift for pretty cheap if you take your time and look around

How would I piece one together? What would I be looking for?

"220, 221, whatever it takes."
Although your truck has the torsion bar suspension, since it is a 2wd you can use lift spindles which cost a lot less. Pro Comp, Fabtech, and I think Camburg all make 2wd Ranger Edge lift kits that would work. The lift spindles for a 2wd coil-sprung Ranger/Mazda are different.
