I just picked up a 2.3t that came out of a thunderbird, I believe an '88. All the wiring is there, even the interior wiring. I've noticed a couple wires have been cut (1st concern). I'm putting it in an 85 ranger. It had a 2.3 in it to start with so I figured it wouldn't be to hard to just drop it in and do the wiring harness (am I wrong?). Also I can't find any plugs to pop off to separate the interior wiring harness from the engine bay harness (2nd concern). And there are some hoses that have been cut on the motor (3rd concern). Will I have to do some slicing and dicing? My truck's been down for about 2 or 3 months now so I'm trying to get it back on the road so I can have something to drive to work. I have everything I need for the motor to run: Clutch, power steering mount and pump, alternator, ect ect... If anyone who has done one of these swaps know what I'm going to need to do and could give me some pointers it would be much appreciated.
