Mazda guys put 2.5 heads on 2.3s
then either adapters for the intake runners, or a global/Brazilian 2.5 intake.
for more zoom zoom I suppose :dntknw:
PJ, interesting problem popped up, just wanted to run it by you. I had a weird transmission issue and after driving this a bit the engine light popped. I ran a code check with cheap code scanner and got a load of codes. Most all are electrical and "control circuits". I'm going to chase down the connections today along with reading up on all codes thrown. P0023, p2500,c2007, b3307,p0755
p0750,p0743 and p004a (turbocharger boost???). lol. Any thoughts on diagnosis?

when a bunch of stuff goes wrong at once my first thoughts are power or ground, something common to all.
what kind of transmission issue?
clear the codes then see which ones come back.

All shifting has failed. The engine engages transmission at about 2000 RPM and drives to 60 at about 3000 rpm. Didn't push it. I reconnected the PCM and the main loom coupler. Tomorrow I'll try just that, clear codes and try again. The IAC was loose and I retightened but that obviously wouldn't affect everything.
