If I had a set of Ford "body/chassis" and "powertrain/drivetrain" manuals for 1993, would they apply to my 1994? I know there may have been a few changes to the 3.0 valve lifters in 94 (as an example), but I'm not doing that kind of engine work myself anyway.

Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
The only differences that I know of between the '93 and '94 is that side impact beams were added to the doors. But, I have no idea if there were any powertrain tweaks from the one year to the next.

My original Ford CD, the one they used in their shops says 93-94, for whatever that's worth

You got that right!

If we have another global crisis, and another toilet paper shortage, you're set.

Try THAT with a CD.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Use more of a gentle scraping motion and wash thoroughly between use.
You sure?

I thought that they had to be spinning at high speed to work properly.

No, no. In this application, they are used like the proverbial seashell scrapers. High speed spinning could lead to injury or worse.
