ok, i've been busy lookin for a job, so i havent had time to work on the BII for a while. but i have managed to get alot done over the last few days.

i started scrubbing down some rust spots and hittin them with rust-o-leum pant. it's just surface rust from sitting for so long.

i'm loading pic onto photobucket right now and will put them up in a bit

here's the pics, pretty slow goings right now, but as soon as i find a job i'll be able to do more.

here's pic of the painting and scrubbing i've done

this is the only spot where the rust has made a hole, i'll patch it whenever i can aquire a welder

only the front two body mounts look like this, i'm sure it'll be a pain when i put my body lift on

i used self tapping screws and pot rivots to reattach the inner fenderwell, i'll probably do some fender trimming down the road, so i'm just gettin it ready

here's what it looks like after i painted it

i reassembled everything back together except the grill and the doors...it's been kinda warm here and i like drivin it without them

not sure what i'll be doin next....

well it's gettin cold here and now that it's gettin dark earlier, i pretty much can only work on the weekends.

i did some body work the other day. i'm still saving for a body lift and new treads.

trimmed the fenders to match the front of the BII, i've always hated how it hung down. i'm also debating if i want to paint the grill. it'll either be eddie bauer brown or black.

more to come soon.....

i'm changing the oil in the tranny, t-case and both diffs this week. i have the 2 diffs done right now and i'll start on the tranny and t-case tomorrow i hope.

while i had the rear diff open, i did a little artwork with some gray paint i had laying around. i'm gonna wirebrush and repaint the axle housing later.

Thats a nice bronco II man, i've always wanted to get one of them. it would look good with like a 3" suspension and 2" body so not so much of the frame shows and some 33x12.50 mud terrains. put up some more pictures of my ranger if your interested

updates? i like the work you've done so far. i'm really fond of the fender trimming to eliminate the hangdown.

i keep running into other problems, plus i'm still tryin to find a REAL job and funds are TIGHT to say the least....add to that it's been snowing and cold as hell for the last 3 weeks. right now, i've run into a cracked head gasket, so i'm about to tear down the engine and replace them. had to replace the thermostat and water pump before i ran into the head gasket problem. i have a D35 lined up at a junkyard for $250, i'd be $50 away if i didnt have to buy all this crap.....:bawling:

supposed to hear about a job last friday, hopefully i'll hear today
