For sure.

An easy way to tell: with a shortbed the fuel door is up tight to the front of the bed, a longbed has the fuel door back about a foot.

Theres an 85ish one that i see around town sometimes. 4wd shortbox. Sounds like a 2.8. Never cross paths with the guy to ask him about it though. Its in much better shape then mine lol.

How rare are 1st gens nowadays down there in general? I know up here there pretty thin. I see them bopping around sometimes....but they really seemed to die off the last 10 yrs or so.
