My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...
Heard about this on the radio yesterday....decided to take the 80 mi drive and check it out....was NOT disappointed...

My favorite of the show. Yes its a chevy. A 78 K20 to be exact. 400V8/TH400. Restored to showroom. Had to wipe off the drool.

20240405_163419.jpg

Didnt get alot of details on this one...supposdly runs 7's. Pretty sweet build.

20240405_163544.jpg

GT40.

20240405_163717.jpg

A real 426/4sp GTX

20240405_163839.jpg

454 Chevelle

20240405_163850.jpg

This thing was pretty sweet. Besides the rims it was pretty period correct.

20240405_164212.jpg

Gotta love a nova.

20240405_164425.jpg

I had only seen this thing online. A massive 1938 or 9 GMC prototype bus. Powered by a 302 CI I6. 30,000lbs and around 12feet tall. Guy said itll do about 35mph lol.

20240405_164627.jpg

20240405_164629.jpg

Drivers compartment of the bus. It was hard to get good pics of.

20240405_165102.jpg

36 Ford. Obviously eye catching.

20240405_165132.jpg

75 Maverick. Wasnt many fords at the show. This was pretty cool though.

20240405_165648.jpg

1000hp 5.0 twin turbo coyote. In a 72 F100

20240405_165855.jpg

Another 454SS. This was my favorite of the chevelles that were there. Mostly original/period correct.

20240405_170039.jpg

This thing was VERY original. Right down to faded paint and quarter panel rot. Original AAR 340/6pack/4speed car.

20240405_170156.jpg

440/4sp 69 daytona

20240405_170707.jpg

I had no idea what this was. Said it was a lancia....had some weird italian name. Supposdly 1 of 600 or so to exist in the world. IIRC it was a 76.

20240405_171648.jpg

Self explaintory. Signed by cast members though.

20240405_172859.jpg

88 (IIRC) Turbo coupe

20240405_172934.jpg

89 SHO

20240405_172351.jpg

This thing looked like itd be a blast to drive.

20240405_172744.jpg

71 Mach1. 351C....had to wipe drool on this one too. Love the big bodies.

20240405_173152.jpg

Not really a low rider guy....but this 64 Cadilliac caught my eye. Pics dont do it justice.

20240405_173347.jpg

I could see my wife driving this. I6/auto.

20240405_173504.jpg

Fell in love with this one too.

20240405_173625.jpg

One for @Uncle Gump
VW thing.

20240405_173815.jpg

What grabbed me on this one was it had a 400 ford.

20240405_173947.jpg

Couldnt get a good pic...but this thing was sharp as shit.

20240405_174102.jpg

Scout II. Didnt get a chance to get details on it....owner was busy with others.

20240405_174241.jpg

76 cutlass with factory Ttops and 4 speed manual....both super rare options by 76.

Figured you guys might like seeing these. This was just a small sample of what was there....overall there was over 200 vehicles plus a few bikes and stuff.

I hope they do it next year and if you can go...go. Its a cool show.

Woah nelly! Lancia made the 037 mid-engine car to compete in the wild Group B rally class. They're highly sought after cars with a reputation for being stupid fast and pretty unsafe:

Now, there's a company named Kimera that's doing restomods of the originals. That there is a Kimera 037 EVO. They start around $750k, and Graham is asking $1.4 mil for that exact car:

I might have to make a trip to GRP just to see it in person since I'll probably never have another chance. Anyway, here's a video of one. If any of you's wins the Powerball you might consider one:

Looks like DuPont registries screwed up on the year...
Because they didn't start development until 1980, and first race was 1982

Rusty also said it was a 76 in his post, so I'm guessing the owner is calling it a 76 for some reason.
