Heard about this on the radio yesterday....decided to take the 80 mi drive and check it out....was NOT disappointed...
My favorite of the show. Yes its a chevy. A 78 K20 to be exact. 400V8/TH400. Restored to showroom. Had to wipe off the drool.
Didnt get alot of details on this one...supposdly runs 7's. Pretty sweet build.
GT40.
A real 426/4sp GTX
454 Chevelle
This thing was pretty sweet. Besides the rims it was pretty period correct.
Gotta love a nova.
I had only seen this thing online. A massive 1938 or 9 GMC prototype bus. Powered by a 302 CI I6. 30,000lbs and around 12feet tall. Guy said itll do about 35mph lol.
Drivers compartment of the bus. It was hard to get good pics of.
36 Ford. Obviously eye catching.
75 Maverick. Wasnt many fords at the show. This was pretty cool though.
1000hp 5.0 twin turbo coyote. In a 72 F100
Another 454SS. This was my favorite of the chevelles that were there. Mostly original/period correct.
This thing was VERY original. Right down to faded paint and quarter panel rot. Original AAR 340/6pack/4speed car.
440/4sp 69 daytona
I had no idea what this was. Said it was a lancia....had some weird italian name. Supposdly 1 of 600 or so to exist in the world. IIRC it was a 76.
Self explaintory. Signed by cast members though.
88 (IIRC) Turbo coupe
89 SHO
This thing looked like itd be a blast to drive.
71 Mach1. 351C....had to wipe drool on this one too. Love the big bodies.
Not really a low rider guy....but this 64 Cadilliac caught my eye. Pics dont do it justice.
I could see my wife driving this. I6/auto.
Fell in love with this one too.
One for @Uncle Gump
VW thing.
What grabbed me on this one was it had a 400 ford.
Couldnt get a good pic...but this thing was sharp as shit.
Scout II. Didnt get a chance to get details on it....owner was busy with others.
76 cutlass with factory Ttops and 4 speed manual....both super rare options by 76.
Figured you guys might like seeing these. This was just a small sample of what was there....overall there was over 200 vehicles plus a few bikes and stuff.
I hope they do it next year and if you can go...go. Its a cool show.
