I gets it! You're gonna fill the tub with gas in case you run out halfway through the race! Good thinking!

Now you just gotta learn to pump it from the tub to the tank fast enough!

Now my inner retard is satisfied, that looks like it's gonna be loads of fun. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Read from the initial post>>>

No, few things have changed since the initial post. With the economy the way it's been for a few years now, my hours got cut at work, so it kinda put a kink in my plans.:bawling:

I picked up a 99 for the RAT Ranger build, I've done some of the suspension mod already, but I put it on the back burner a few months ago.

Too many irons in the fire so to speak. So I decided to go through my green 94's engine, and concentrate on gettin it ready for the local Cruise-In's and Ranger Meets this summer.

I say you should remove the hood scoop, Tim. Then you'll have a true blue (green in your case LOL) sleeper :)

i did the same thing with an abs plastic scoop and my hood, but with a cowl instead of a scoop to keep as much water out as possible,

but what i suggest to you is possibly making an airbox like i did. i bought a 4'X8' sheet of crinkle-finish abs plastic for $12 and made an airbox to isolate it from the hot under-hood air:

and with the hood down you can see how it seals to the hood:

Now come on guys>>>

==============================================
When its asleep (parked) it's a SLEEPER!:icon_twisted:

Can't loose the scoop, as it's not for looks, it's functionable!:icon_thumby:

tim isnt gonna fool anybody with those dynomax racing bullets hes got dumped under the bed. theyll hear him before they even see him.
==============================================
They don't give nothin away from a distance, generally guys/gals that are curious to where that sound is comin from are lookin for a fullsize truck/Camaro/Mustang or anythin OTHER THAN a Ranger!:yahoo:

THANKS for the kudos guys!!!

I put lotta thought & effort into this suspension mod, had guys tell me it wouldn't work, truck would want to roll with movin the springs under the frame, and such. But I'm the type of guy that if it was all for not, then so be it, I tried. But as you can see, IMO it turned out GREAT!
