The huge cloud of smoke is kind of a hit something was seriously wrong with that dually, a Ranger just doesn't have the weight to out pull a full size truck. In any kind of pull superior traction will win. If his engine couldn't produce or his transmission couldn't put the power to the ground he should have just stood on the brakes and held you... With more tires and more weight he should have had no problems...

A win is a win though...

If you didn't notice, the huge cloud of smoke you speak of came from his tires.

That Chevy must have been a 2wd--or a broken 4x4. The back of my 2wd Chevy crewcab weighs 2,200# so any 3,500# 4wd Ranger would drag it around easily.

We went to the fair a week ago. The pulling trucks were filling the parking area. Mostly Cummins things with stacks. I saw an old F250 with a rear axle about like what comes in a schoolbus. Would have been fun to see it I guess.

There were more wins against fullsizes but those are the only ones i have on video. I doubt if my 3.0 could have done half what that poor old 4.0 did, thats why i DD my 3.0, she'll run forever!!!

Thanks guys!
