Can't wait to mount the winch.
good stuffIt's actually going to sit in the bumper! A hole will be cut for the lead and I will have to remove the grill and lower panel to squeeze it in! Ordered a superwinch 10000.
Long arms on a Cherokee vary from 30-33 inches. Longer arms really do not give more flex just a nicer ride. A stock short arm lift on a Jeep is 16 inch lower arm. Mid arm is about 24-26 inches. So 28 inches is plenty I used 3.5 Rubicon Express Jeep Cherokee coils when I built TNT setup. TNT already had a 2 inch body lift so I was trying to keep the COG as low as possible. 3.5 XJ coils on TNT gained about 5 inches over stock. The Jeep coils are a lot more flexy and extend more to keep the coil in place. I based the setup off a Jeep long arm on Merc, TNT, and Double R. They all work great.
