ok i have been reading....i can tow my zx2 as a dingy since it has a manual....well does any one know were i can get a tow bar for it...and is there a specail towbar doe that kind of car?

a rice car as a dingy...hmm somethin wrong with that

Stegoman, you will not be able to use a universal towbar on the car. Universal bars are made to bolt onto steel bumpers with a frame horn behind it. The newer cars usually don't have a sliver of steel anywhere near the bumper.

You will need to buy a baseplate that is made specifically for your make and model and then a towbar. Check out www.Blueox.com

I sell these things daily working for an RV dealer so feel free to ask me any questions.

depends on the mount you need to but to go with it

hey Jspafford, how much would a towbar and baseplate run on average? I'm just curious, I may get one for my BII so I can flat-tow with my car when I'm going to a farther-away trail ride...

actually almost every newer car that has a plastic bumper has a steel bumper (more of a crossmember really) behind it. without it you would get slaughtered in a front-end collision.

wow priced out things today...one place wanted to charge me 2500 for blue ox stuff...and just the backing plate for my car is 350...and that is the cheep one....looks like i aint takin the car...be cheepr to drive down
