You Might be a Ranger Fanatic (or Gearhead) if....

You have parts scattered over more than 3 different pieces of property....

(Guilty... I still have gear scattered over three and I had four for a couple years before the one got sold and briefly had 5)

Well, I have a spare tailgate, dash pad, and passenger seat and a drive shaft in my dad's garage, I have a trans, t-case and two drive shafts in the storage unit, I have some interior pieces here at my GF's place, and I have a set of seats at my place...

Does that count as 4 properties?

I suppose it could...

I had some parts and sometimes a truck at my parent's old place before they sold it, two trucks at a family friends place with a pile of parts, a truck and a pile of parts at a junkyard I was friends with the owner, 1-2 trucks and a pile of parts at my parents new place, and 1-2 trucks with a pile of parts at my college apartment at one point.

Now I just have a truck with a small mountain of parts at the family friend's place (three motors, two transmissions, one D-30 minus gears and shafts, one D-44 HP complete, matched pair of D-44 HD LP and D-60 FF, two D-28's, one 7.5" rear, full set of doors, misc other stuff), I have my shed full of parts on my 1/3 of my parent's property, and 4 and a half trucks in my parent's driveway (soon to be 5.5) along with another parts pile. (my driveway didn't get cut in before our skid steer broke down - all I have is a muddy access path that not even my choptop can climb anymore).

that's all?

I think he belief about my redneckishness is more related to my not seeing a problem with us having 10-13 vehicles sitting around at any given time and at least 5 of them not running.

You mud drag down the muddy alley behind your house last Sunday with every neighbor in sight outside watching and taking pictures (probably for evidence)...but it was fun!

So what's wrong with that anyway? :icon_rofl:

yea , seriously right now at the house there is my Ranger , moms Sable , Stepdads F-250 , 2 Pontiac Sunfires , a 2000 DTS , a 1991 Fleetwood , a 1998 3500HD Bucket Truck , a 1994 Camaro , the 2004 Goldwing , and 3 trailers

then at the farm there is the 1995 F-Super Duty Bucket Truck , the 2 Cutlass' , the subie wagon , the 72 Chevy 4x4 and another trailer , plus a motorcycle in the lower part of the barn and assorted RBV parts and a Fergueson model 20 tractor upstairs

at the storage we have the 72 Chevy 2WD , the 76 Vette , both my motorcycles , the 69 GMC 2WD , my Exploder , my 83 Chevy and our JD 850

on the lot we have a Mercurt Tracer and a Caddy DHS

and at the barn down the road is my 84 Mustang and my stepdads 2003 DTS

and down at college i have my 2000 Ranger and my 1997 F-350

i think we have enough vehicles

Lets see, the 250, the explorer and mariner, the G20 van, the mustang, the omega, the plymouth, and then when all the kids are home we also have the ranger, the blazer, the volvo, and sometimes the S-10.

When you've talked more friends then you can count with one hand into buying an RBV. (Three friends from highschool, bestfriends brothers girlfriend, bestfriends mom, ex girlfriends dad, and my old English teacher)

When people you hardley even know, show up at your house and ask you if you can fix their rig. Happened on two occasions, both very good looking gals :icon_thumby:

I definantly have more non-runners sitting around than you :yahoo: including tractors in my yard.

Nothing says white-trash like a sunfire or a cougar....... thank-God we got rid of the cougars. I don't care who you are those are the two vehicles that scream "this is my sister, and we get it on"

The dealership calls YOU for an NOS part (yep, NOS saddle dashpad 83-88 Ranger/BroncoII. Told them nope, just sold it to a guy yesterday. It is waiting to go in my 84 BII.)

32. You celebrate your truck's birthday AND the day you bought it.

October 18, 1985 is mine's birthday....
December 23, 2003 is the day I took it home...

My girlfriend's birthday is sometime in November, can't remember the day.
