YAY! Truck Found!

I found a first generation ranger sitting behind a dealership, behind some wrecked old dodge chargers and rusty cars (was like heaven for me ), and it looks like the frame is solid, will need to check maybe this weekend with Jason, and get some images for sure!

The truck is tan, with tan interior and bucket seats, but since the windows were left open , and it looks to have been sitting for a few years, the interior was destroyed .

When I called today, the dealer told me the truck was a parts truck (he hesitated to say it though), and when I asked him how much he wanted for it, he paused for a second and told me 350.

When I go to look at it, I will shoot him an offer with what I think it is worth, because if the frame is whole, and the body is in usable condition , I could have a good parts truck

It was an accident finding it to be honest, was done eating at a resteraunt next to the dealership (used car lot), and we took a look around and found old rusty cars, and wondered out back and saw more rusty cars and around a corner I saw what looked like the grill to a first gen ranger, thinking it was a BII I went to look, and sure enough, it was a ranger!

Not sure on the year, it was also in mud and maybe when I go this weekend I will pop the hood and pull the weeds out to get a better look.

Almost forgot to add, there is a Mazda v8 engine sitting outside on the ground, gonna ask him whats wrong with it, and if the block and pistons are good, I might nab it too, lol

Thats what I was wondering, LOL what did mazda put a v-8 in? Unless the navajo came with a v-8 like the explorer, but I doubt it.

i'll bet you fifty that if the wiring isn't shot, all it'll take is a fresh battery and a splash of gas to get that thing fired up.

lol, wow that thing been sitting for a while. Bet ya 5 bucks that there's a mouse nest in that PS pump!
To be honest I dont know if I would actually buy that if I wasnt looking to fully restore something, top to bottom.

Since those windows were down, that means it was hit with all of that snow we had this year (you're somewhat local to me, I'm sure you remember) plus who knows how long they've been down.

Check those floor boards thoughly. I think you might find alot of nastys in that thing.
