The wonderful world of My A4LD The second!
ok When the Transmission is cold. It doesn't Like to go into gear(all gears). It just sits there sometimes. Bringing the rpm up slightly will after a few seconds cause the tranny to go into gear. You can hear what sounds like to me a hydraulic pump starting to engage and then its in gear, No slippage once in gear.
And Until it warms up it can fall out of gear (3-5 minutes) if you take your foot off the pedal.
Oh and the fluid is above the line for max fluid when warmed up.
Once the transmission is warm it acts perfectly.
Is it dying? Is it a economic repair job? should I just go find another?
