XE 270 to much valve noise

my new 347 all forged internaly ballanced engine sounds like its got 300,000 miles on it! I cant stand it, comp says to bad. so it sounds like a sewing machine. sure thats been in a sweat shop for 30 years! its actually noisier than a solid roller. its coming out any sugestions?

If's got roller rockers, learn to love it. My 331's never been quite as far as valvetrain noise. 6 years now and nothing amiss from it. (Z303 hyd roller w/1.7 rockers)

Just built a 347 for a buddy's 88 Ranger. Sounds just like what you are describing. We were going to use GT40P heads, but you all know they wont work with 89500's. Wound up with aluminum heads and roller rockers. Can't get rid of the noise.
